The Archeological Route

Designed for those who possess a true passion for archeology, our journey begins with a guided tour of the Museum of Anthropology, providing a comprehensive overview of the country’s indigenous history, followed by visits to El Salvador’s most important archeological sites: Joya de Cerén (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Ruinas de San Andrés, and Tazumal. For those interested, we can organize an indigo-dying class offered adjacent to one of the sites. Note: visits to individual sites are also available for those who do not wish to take the entire tour.
