The Flower Route

Located in one of El Salvador’s most important coffee-growing regions, La Ruta de las Flores or The Flower Route is a scenic road that winds up a hilly region blanketed in coffee plantations and dotted with wildflowers. The route takes you through the charming colonial-style towns of Juayúa, Salcoatitán, and Ataco where you can take a leisurely stroll through their cobblestone streets, visit their whitewashed churches, and enjoy their weekly gastronomical festivals. In addition, you can tour one of El Salvador’s highly praised coffee farms, canopy over tropical forest, and relax in the soothing waters of a natural hot spring.
