SURFING
Discover El Salvador’s world-class waves alongside one of our expert surfing guides; stay at hotels located at excellent surf breaks; or participate in exciting surf camps (offered seasonally).
SAILING
Sail around the beautiful Gulf of Fonseca, navigating through the many islands that adorn it. Spot dolphins gliding through the waters and pelicans swooping down to catch fish—from November through March you might even sight whales, which pass through El Salvador on their migratory trips to colder waters.
DEEP SEA & COASTAL FISHING
For those of you in search of great fishing, El Salvador’s coasts are brimming with variety. Enjoy a daylong excursion that will take you from the shores of La Libertad to the borders of Guatemala in search of Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, and more.
KAYAKING
Kayak through winding mangroves observing a variety of bird species including ibis, heron, and roseate spoonbills, or take in the beautiful scenery while kayaking in one of El Salvador’s lakes.
SCUBA DIVING
The waters off the coast of Los Cobanos Beach have a coral reef that is well worth exploring and the country’s lakes offer interesting volcanic crater diving.
RIVER RAFTING
During our winter months—from May to October—the Lempa and Paz Rivers offer exhilarating white-water rafting experiences, ranging from classes I-V. |
